Ok so I'd like to know a good program for recovering data... mainly picture's though.

My sister decided to format her memory card for her phone... all because a window popped up when she plugged it into her laptop and said what would you like to do with... so she thought she had to click format! despite it probably saying "ALL DATA WILL BE LOST" .........

Well that's typical blonde's for ya,

So back to the point, The photo's on there are really important and even though I've managed to get all the Jpeg file's back without a problem, I cannot recover any Bitmap images or any other type what the phone supported, so as I owe her some money I told her I'll go buy some new software to recover the data (I'll end up keeping the software, so it's almost win win for me).

So who can recommend something to help me with this?

Agreed.

I'll try the recovery software later, I'll post back once finished.

If that does not work, you can try this: PhotoRec, Digital Picture and File Recovery
:)

The Recuva software didn't work at all, would only find 5 mp3 tracks, yet the software I already have fount over 1,500+

I'm going to search with the software I already have, kind of worried it might of changed something and now unable to recover anything, although I've not heard of that before, haha.

Badcopy Pro

not quite sure if you have to pay for this or not but look into badcopy pro, this program can recover messed up flash drives and other goodies.

not too familiar with it but that's what it's suppossed to do.
