Rule of thumb for widescreen purchase is to get the size wide screen that is at least as tall as the as your old monitor but anything below a 19 inch and you will be disappointed.....I am currently looking to go even bigger than what I have in my sig. thinking at least a 47 inch and probably another WestingHouse.Good luck with your decision.

PS e-penis is last of the thoughts once i plugged in and was gaming at 1920x1080 and watching high DEF Of a high Def tuner..then the thoughts are WOW

i bet ur e-penis got an e-boner ^.^ lol
Thanks man. 47 inch is a truly massive screen, but it would be a brilliant experience to play Bioshock on that with 7.1 surround sound :)

Go with Widescreen since after all your eyes are positioned horizontally, not vertically, most people tend to forget this though since their acclimated to squares:laugh::laugh::laugh:

joking aside widscreen is the better choice imo it doesnt have to be greater than 19 inches to enjoy either. My laptop is a 17 incher widescreen and I just love its 1440x900 resolution:cool::cool::toast::toast::toast:

Personal view is once you tried widescreen you will not go back, its great to fit so much on the screen at one time. Specially on the high res 1600 x 1050, thou 1400x900 is good also.

Yeah, there are some really really sexy widescreens out there but i dunno which to get. I'm looking at the Samsung 226BW, but I'm sure there are others that are as awesome as it.
It's 3000:1, 2ms, 160/160 viewing angle, 22". And its got some spiffy add on thingos from samsung. So that looks pretty hot ^.^
But its also expensive, so I'm still looking around for other stuff aswell :)

LG just came out with some 5000:1 contrast ratio monitors and they are some decently priced monitors that are the sexiest you could ever see.
