Title says it all. I have a friend who will be purchasing his pc soon.
However I'm worried that the Gigabyte 6950 (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=193_1179&products_id=16622) which measures 280mm in length may not fit into the CM 690 II Advanced case without taking out the hard drive cage.
The intended motherboard only has one pci-e x16 slot (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=138_711_1183&products_id=16803).

So can some one please confirm whether it would fit or not.

EDIT: Also he intends to mount another fan on the hard drive cage

Yes. You can put a card up to 304mm in it.

Even without removing the hard drive cage? Just to double check

    Yes.

The depth of the case is 528mm. Let's say the hard drive cage would be around 150mm wide. Add the 25mm thickness of the fan in the front, and another 15mm more, and that's 150+25+15 = 190mm. 528-190 = 338mm. They say it's "up to 304mm" so the 38mm would most probably be even more allowance as well as taking into consideration the thickness of the case itself, etc.

"Mount another fan on the hard drive cage"? Isn't it just on the bottom 120mm slot (of which there are two, the other one is between the PSU and the cage itself)? So it won't be affecting the card.
    HXL492 says thanks.
