will my psu handle this

    like what the title says will my psu handle this set up stock and OC'ed

    my psu is corsair 750watt


    the setup:

    2x SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4850X2 1GB
    Intel Core i7 920
    DFI LANParty DK X58-T3eH6
    Super Talent D3-1333 6GB (3x 2GB) CL8 Triple Channel Memory

    It should be ok, the Corsair TX850W is only a couple dollars more so I'd aim for that one.

    It'll be fine, 3 GTX 285s in triple SLI doesn't even pull 700 watts in full load.

    look at my rig and it handles it no problem , rails are solid using a 600 watt power supply and I have used two 4850's overclocked to hell and back. You will be fine.

    To be logic it's only the GPU Draw of course. The i7 will take on another 100W, plus ram, hdd's, case fans etc.

    a quality 750w psu would practically power a rocket ship to teh moon

    I would go slowly in OCing if I were you... at peak is 600w... it's another 130w stock for i7 920... just watch out :p

    well i was thinking just get 1 4850x2 and get me a watercooling kit just i dont know yet

    sry I thought you said another card... 4850x2 and i7 etc.. will not need more than a 750W for sure... as for 2x 4850x2 , I don't think the performance gains is enough to justify the price..

    I would of bought ocz or corsair or patriot ram if I were you... but 6gb for 100$ is a steal!
    I would've gone with this mobo if I were you ... 530$ - 20$MIR for 920+mobo combo

    ya i was going to get that but evga will oc better....looked at some reviews on the gigabyte boards they dont oc well and i used them before and had bad experiences them
