win 7 cant install update

win 7 fails to install updates
Updates are
KB2761226
KB2763523
KB2761217
KB2767528

i have this for a fiew days now
when system shuts down it starts installing it
when it boots up it undos the instal says its failed..
anny way to fix it?

I've been getting update failures on a system at work too.
Not sure why.
My computer at work has no problem and I was contemplating if maybe having the full .Net 4 install (instead of just the .Net 4 client install) has something to do with it.

If you find anything out let me know and I'll do the same.

Try installing each update one at a time through the windows update interface, don't let them all automatically install when the machine is shutdown.

That doesn't work either.
I tried several times.
For me there is one SMB update that always fails on the machine in question.

Wow, I have been having this issue as well. For the past half month, my Win7 PC has failed the update process. If I recall correctly, there were around 20 updates too.

• Boot into safe mode;
• Open

  %temp%

  on Explorer;
• Delete everything inside it;
• Reboot;
• Try to apply updates again;
• ...
• PROFIT?

that worked for me
tough i had to change my temp on ramdisk back to c:/ to get it working then i could switch the temp back to my ramdisk
