Window experience Rating

Just curious, i know the Windows experience rating is kinda bull, but i upgraded the memory in my laptop from 4GB to 8 GB, and went from 1066 to 1333. Wouldnt one think that the index would go up from 5.9? Yes i did refresh it.

It's rated from the lowest performing part, usually the Hard disk.

E.G. You could get 7's for everything and a 3.0 for your disk drive and your overall rating would be 3.0.

Yeah, i saw that, what a weird part to go by. Besides its a SATA 7200rpm drive. Doesnt get much better unless you have an ssd!

You can also prolly get away with a light overclock on the GPU to bring the video rating up slightly.

Seems like a good rating tho.

My laptop gets:
Processor = 6.0
Ram = 5.5
Graphics = 4.9
Gaming Graphics = 5.9
Hard disk = 5.4

I find it funny that the onboard video brings down my score, even tho it also has a separate dedicated GPU

I am by no means complaining aboutmine, i LOVE this machine. Just curious. One day i will go ssd with it, then im sure that dumb little number will jump. That is weird about your GPU. My drive is a 7200rpm drive according to the specs. Maybe it has less cache or something....?

Ignore windows experience it's basically BS. And of course a decent SSD with a decent Laptop there be improvements which is why i been thinking of putting one of my aging INTEL SSDs back in the laptop and getting another SSD for my main system..
