windows 7 boot problem

hey everyone!
i'm trying to boot into my windows 7 install on my laptop which i've had installed for about 3 months. except now when i try to boot it only shows an underscore flashing. the bios detects the hard drive and so does linux. how do i fix this?

Can you boot from the windows 7 dvd?
