in all fainess you should look at what business use to say what is a stable O/s.

DOS/95--95 is still in use a lot in the business world---skipped all 98 untilll 98-SE---skipped ME---windows 2000 till was till XP was widly accepted.

Just use dosbox on your current rig, rather going through the hassle of installing an old OS on a old PC...

well get unoffical me SP and a few other unoffical updates and its stable as a rock, i used to dual boot me and xp and had me stable and crash free for 6 months
