    hello!
i installed windowsxp home new a few days ago, but it boots sometimes correct, sometimes not:
when i switch on my pc it goes until "verifying dmi pool data" and then it shuts down.
after rebooting i get the screen which asks if i want to go to the safemode.
the safemode shuts down, too, after trying to boot several times it boots normally.
    what could be wrong?

if/when it boot right click on the drive and tell each of your drives to check the disk and automatically fix errors then on the next restart it should do it or you could go into the command prompt by going to start/run and typing "cmd" then type chkdsk and if it wont type chkdsk /F .....hope that might fix it.
