With the abundance of smart devices based on mobile platforms like android and windows, it would make sense to have a forum dedicated to those.
Those get almost the same amount of respect these days as normal computers, so why not :p

I was thinking something on the line of "Tablets and other Mobile Devices"
which may be further divided into "Android", "Windows" and "Other"

Chevalr1c, Darkleoco, NHKS and 2 others say thanks.

I think this is going to be an inevitability as mobile devices continue to eat into the enthusiast market.

    WHAT IS THIS HERESY!!!!!
Must be further divided with overclocking and rooting sections. I can't wait to see ln2 arm overclocking.

    Now being serious.
    I agreed. Sounds reasonable.

I believe the time has come for this expansion into the realm of... What was the question? Oh, YES, mobile platforms!

Heck, my phones and tablets out number my PCs by one. So, I voted yes.

A mobile device forum with os based sub forums would be a great addition to tpu.
I post and browse from my tablet alot the site works great with chrome mobile so kudos to whoever is responsible for that.
Also use the tpu app on my phone all the time when out and about and bored.

I see what you did there

Wow, NPU sounds good! Will there be a forum attached to it like we have here?

Indeed, you'd think there would be a press release about it.

Because we're still work in progress. I hammered out a few posts so far. The idea is to dip a toe in the water with leaking the link to GN first. TPU can, at times, be a sanctuary for PC purism. Hence NPU is built from ground up, not only with a different content base, but also different underlying ideals on how to approach the audience.

We spent the last month just building and testing the site engine. The site is 99.9% custom code, we didn't use any turnkey CMS solutions. It was a great learning experience.

Thanks for the clarification, bta. :) Bookmarked it already.

I see you want some newswriters for NPU. Will they be paid "professional" rates, or a hobby amount per article.

We'll discuss that with serious and qualified candidates in private.
