my question is are my temps abit too high and would it be worthfitting a accelero s1 rev2 with a notcua 120mm fan to it?

66c is a pretty good load temp. If you already have the accelero I would put it on just cause I already have something that can cool better than what's on there now

Fan at 100% must be unbearable. The "Twin Turbo" on my older 4870 was set to 75% (Still quiet) and got to ~60ish under load.

I had very good luck with my ramsinks (not trying to pitch) and an accelero S1 on my 4870 1Gb... very quiet and very cool. ATM I am using the stock cooler on my 4890 because frankly besides all the "hot and loud" talk, it actually runs cooler than my 4870 did and is about the same noise level.
