Now that's thinking!!! Dam I have a spare sp 120 at home. Your card have two fans? If so were you able to plug into the harness and run it off the GPUs power pin? If that's the case it mod time ;)

yea it had two fans, i cut the broken one off the cable. and just used the normal fan header for the sp120. if you knew which was +/- i suppose you could hook up to the gpu fan cables.

also cools a lot better lol

I bet.. What card is it? And its easy finding out what wire is the positive.. Just hook it to a battery.. If it spins backwards then there's your answer ;)

The fans on the gaming card just don't have the push to cool like a sp fan would.. Heck I'm doing to measure the shroud and the depth and see if I can find a good 90-95 mm fan to..sit inside to keep the look of the card. I know the Ok blower style at I fan was loud but when done doing a hard benchmark it wouldn't take long at all to cool it off.. These flat pos fans you need to wait 10,min at 100% _just to get them back to normal idle Temp's

twin frozrII on the 6970, youve given me an idea to replace both strapped to the sink. it was about 5*c cooler, tested at stock comparisons.

i got an aftermarket cooler coming now, which ill hook up 2 AF120s to.

good luck!
