I've run a Phenom II (x4 965 BE) and an Athlon II(X3 460) on AM3+ boards. That site is just bad at updating the compatibility info.

That is the drawback, i have sourced cheap parts in the EU previously but often the shipping is too expensive.

Just get the Gigabyte 78LMT new it's about 40 GBP on amazon and has an on board GPU so if you won't need a GPU for it(if you're not gaming).

Thats a good idea at a great price but my budget doesnt stretch to new parts, hence the advert on here.

I assumed there would be members with redundant builds just gathering dust, losing money, taking up space.
