A handfull with too much money will buy it. But, yeah, they are idiots. Not exactly what we should be producing at this point.

    yeah, it is ugly.

The dumb thing is that anyone who want all the luxuries (42" tv) is never going to utilize the power the thing has for work. It's just a suburbanite e-penis vehicle.

I saw the F-650 at the St. Louis Auto Show. That was big enough I can't imagine one turned into an SUV.

It's an Alton, using Ford's F650 platform. Much like the Super Cruzer from Fontaine.

Nothing that we'll ever find at a Ford dealership :)

If they ever come to the conclusion that SUV's are causing global warming, could you all please buy one of these.

It's freezing here in WI and we have a ton of snow.

The more SUV's people buy, the less firewood I will have to cut.

not a FORD fan - can't stand their vehicles by any means . . .

but the F650 is a friggin truck! It's been around in a passenger cab and SUV form for a couple of years now. I've seen at least 7 different F650 Passenger cab trucks that I've seen around here:

funny thing is, they're not "built" that way by Ford. The F650 platform is shipped from the production plant to a few different shops around the country, who chop the truck up, extend it, install the bed, and put it back together with their options. But, because they're licensed by Ford, Ford warranties the vehicles. The engine is warrantied by Caterpillar (for 500,000 miles, I think - asides, you ain't killing that diesel), or Cummins if it's packing the smaller motor.

Oh, and based on F650 Super Truck's website: they offer the F650 XLT Pickup (the one I pictured) starts at ~$83,000; the Xtreme at $94,000; 4x4 variety $129,000; 6-door (extended crew cab) at $139,000; an XUV 6-door version at $178,000 and average about $225,000

They are massive trucks, though - you're jaw will drop should you ever see one on the road.

I've pooped chunks of crap that look better then that thing.

No seriously, that looks like it was engineered with Legoman in mind.

It actually reminds me of the Simpsons, homer builds a car for the average joe, a lot of pep, a bunch of features, and it came out shit.

Ford is a horrid car manufacturer in my book, poor parts and assembly.

Japanese cars FTW! Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Toyota. Those names I trust for reliability and design.

    Nissan, Honda, whatever.

None of these bulky, inefficient, unstable American cars.
