Well, they are a little magnetic, so don't go tossing it in your case or anything. There's not a lot you can do with it at this point, unless you feel like cutting all the connectors off your power supply, slipping that on, and re-soldering everything back together...

Chuck it, its to prevent EMI. All you do is wrap one loop of your cable around it (mostly they are use to wrap your power switch, reset, led..etc). So pointless IMO.

its for safety, after you cut your finger on the sharp fins of the cooler you slip the ring on your finger to cut off blood flow

seriously they are right about the ring being useless trinket so toss it in your spare parts bin, you might think of a use for it one day.

They sometime's loop the case speaker wire around those to get rid of EMI been awhile since I saw one is your case beige??
just saw some one beat me to it. but it came with cpu cooler I have that cooler I did not get one bummer I was ripped off
