[WTT] My 9600GT for Your 3870.

I'm getting a x38 board, and would like to have the ability to run crossfire in the future. I've got a really nice MSI 9600GT OC that I'll trade for a solid 3870. I've got the retail box and all accessories. Card is in great condition, with no mods of any kind. If you're interested, let me know!

you only just bought that 9600gt right? why dont you chill with it for now and hold out for the hd48xx series? only a few months?

Well I have a Sapphire 3850 with a VF900 installed on it. It chills at 850Mhz Core and 2Ghz Memory. It was set that way by editing the bios. It idles cool, and loads cool. I just don't like to increase voltage.

I still have the stock cooler and mounting hardware in a bag if you don't like the fancy coolers.

But it isn't a 3870. It just clocks like one with lower voltage.

It score 11,679 in 3dmark 06 with my weak dual core.

PS. 3870's and 3850's can run in Crossfire together fine.

you can change the volts to the same as a 3870 thru the BIOS on that card just use the radeon bios editor and set it to 1.35 and you will get 1.327 which is the same as the 3870 :toast:

I know. ATBedit has the same setting.

I never increased the volts beyond my current System specs. I don't like to stress parts that much. Thats probably why I have never broken a computer part before.
