hello all, i'm relatively new to the forums.
i just downloaded ATItool 0.26 and i'm running with catalyst 6.11
for some reason, when i run the scan for artifacts function, i get 3-5 pixels at 74ºC in a matter of 30 secs. however my games run perfectly without the slightest signs of overheating. it usually idles at around 62ºC. do you have an idea of what might be causing the problem?
also, i'd like recommendations on a good aftermarket heatsink/fan combination, and if possible, a basic guide on overclocking this video card. i have a feeling it might not be a good idea though.
i have an ATI x1800xl 256mb, running at 500MHz core / 500MHz mem.
any comments or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
later,
nico.
