That chip will go to 2.8 to 3.2 ghz on 1.34v stock voltage. Depending on your ram for 65.00 your getting the equal of a 6000+ for less than one 3rd of the price. A 6000+ 3.0 ghz is currently 369.00.That unreal bang for the buck in my book. Here is the cpu link without the combo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103036

Any motherboard that goes over 300 fsb and any ram with Micron D chip. I have a Asus M2N32 Deluxe SLI and OCZ DDR 800 none Micron D ram (PowerPSC chips) and I'm at 2.8ghz at stock voltage my new ram is coming and I will go into 3.0ghz. If you buy a 4000x2 Brisbane core you are almost always going to hit a least 2.8 ghz or higher with about any overclockable motherboard and cheap ddr 667.
