dude you dont know reality. 4x agp is outdated and i have numbers to prove it. on my 9600xt runing at 4x i got a lil over 1200 3mark05 at 8x 2200 3mark05. the 4x will definatly hold you back in newer games. i would look in CCC and see which is grayed out on the speed settings. if its 2x thats greyed out and not 8x then you can ajust it.

it never made a deal of difference with my 9700 pro x 4 or x 8.. at the time it was commonly accepted it didnt.. same as its accepted that with average cards pci-e wont make any difference over agp.. its a bandwidth thing and if the card dont need the extra bandwidth it dosnt benefit from having it..

i have a x700 and changing to 8x only gives a 50 point increase in 3dMark05

well it is the only solution there could be.

Whats this about greyed out boxes and CCC
can you give me a guide to get it to 8x if its possible.

if your motherboards speed is 4x max you wont be able to put it at 8x.
