The “point” is that Microsoft is trying to add value to something of dubious value to begin with. That something being its Live Gold account subscription.

I have to agree with you 100%. I just absolutely refuse to buy a Gold account. I will not pay to play online, when I can just hop on my PC or PS3 and do it for free.

HD Netflix streaming comes to Xbox 360 first

We knew that the Xbox 360 would gain Netflix streaming AKA "WatchNow" for Xbox Live Gold members with a Netflix account. However, it seems that the Xbox 360 will be first to have HD Netflix streaming :
