Xbox one controller drivers for Windows.

Anyone interested can get the drivers for the Xbox one controller early from here.

Anyone used the controller with a PC yet? I bought one specifically to use with my pc as soon as i found out about the driver release. About damn time too but better late than never. I just wonder how it performs in existing games with 360 controller support.

How does it connect to the pc wirelessly? I have the 360 controller and that came with a receiver, do you think I could user the same one?

Wired controllers seems a bit 10 years ago to me

Oh i forgot to add there is an official update coming for Windows 7 and 8, basically the same drivers just these are pre release.

I forgot to post back after i collected the controller. It works fine, no lag or any weird missed button presses. Infact works exactly like a 360 controller.
Fortunately you can use any old micro USB data cable to connect to a pc, so i got myself a cheap braided one from ebay.

Overall about the actual controller im a bit meh, its more of a side step from a 360 controller but my 360 controllers are wearing out so im happy to use the xbone controller.
It be interesting to see if games take advantage of the trigger rumble motors.
