So, why did you sell it?

Got offered too much NOT to take it... Literally got almost exactly what I had paid for it. Guy spend $2500 on a Dell, then returned that and spent $2400 on an Alienware, and returned that. Knew a friend of mine, he told him to call me, and he told me he would come over and hand me the cash before even seeing the computer if it was as fast as I said it was, he came over, played Crysis for about 2 minutes and handed me cold hard green.

So I bought a HD3850, and went back to my other machine.

Now I'm waiting for the 45nm chips, and I'll get another Xeon at that point most likely, unless they cost massive amounts more. The Xeon 3070 cost me like $7 more than the e6700 would have.

bought one of these and it matches my old Q6600 step for step easily doing 3.6ghz with less voltage. It won't bench as high because of the 8x multiplier but for every day use is just as good and appears to allow a higher FSB than the Q6600. this is a great chip.
