    Hello guys!
I want to buy the 5670, but it is all messed up in all reviews. All say it is very good for the price point :S
So i have only 3 best alternatives:
xfx 5670 (i like the design)
    http://www.e-shop.gr/show_per.phtml?id=PER.519724
Msi cyclone 5670 (it has very low temps)
    http://www.e-shop.gr/show_per.phtml?id=PER.514379
    Waiting for the new 5670???

BTW these are all the cards that this shop has (They cost less than in my country)
    http://www.e-shop.gr/search_per.pht...1%D4%C1+%C3%D1%C1%D6%C9%CA%D9%CD&filter-331=1

I always wait for this price point as i have the money to buy this kind of card, but what to buy is a real question. The xfx one costs a little more and the cyclone is the best 5670 i could find.
It looks very good, but the xfx one always catches my eye :p
Anyway i am not into design and to say the truth i want more performance.
Hoping that you guys will help!!! :respect: :respect: :respect:

I really would think about saving up and getting a new cpu, mobo and ram, get an amd 790 board, 2gb ddr3 and a cheap athlon II x2 that would be 10x times faster than what you currently have!

Cant see your gaming performance improving drastically with the 5670 and your very dated single core athlon and 1gb ram.

Well normally as soon as i get the money from my job i will buy the whole system, but now i have the money to buy only the card as i can use it in my current system. Anyway at the end of the month i will buy the rig.

In any case if they were my only choices I would grab the MSI, that cooler looks a lot better than the stock one on the xfx, and tbh the xfx doesnt look all that great to me anyway its just a reference pcb and cooler with a sticker on it, for heat and noise I say MSI as both will be lower! :toast:

    Go for the MSI.
Better cooling = more overclock potential.

Anything less than 5770 is already outdated. No need to upgrade to nothing.. really :twitch:

well considering he has a 7600gs a 5670 is a BIG upgrade so how do you figure that one out? :slap:, though as pointed out above he really needs to update his whole system

If you want to stay on the green camp, go with a 9800GT.

    http://www.e-shop.gr/show_per.phtml?id=PER.519356

It's a 1GB variant so unsure if that will help or hamper.

    EDIT:

ALTHOUGH, the 5670 would add DX11 and is a smaller footprint on power consumption. In performance terms its somewhere between a 9600GT/HD3870 and 9800GT/4830. I would go with the MSI Cyclone just because the XFX card is out of stock.

Hi Aleksander.I saw that you post the Greek shop and i want to tell you never buy anything from it.I am from Greece and believe me i know better than you.Now about 5670 it's suck.I think that you better buy a 5770 something like this http://www.pc1.gr/showitem.php?ID=200007673. It has the accelero cooler and it is much better than the 5670.

^ Agreed, the 5670 does suck, but the 5770 will bottleneck his single core Sempron. The 5770 is the better option if they are priced similarly!

Basically the OPs PC will be bottlenecked on ANY video card. He needs a new system.

Aleksander Dishnica, save your money and buy the processor, motherboard, memory, and GPU at the same time!

129 euros...for a 5670...is it by any change the new Juniper based 640 SP version?
If not (eventually) bump the budget and get a 5750.In Romania (EU country) you can get a 512MB Sapphire for 118 euros and 1GB,also Sapphire, for 129...and even the 512 vers
should be a good 50+% stronger

The problem is that i cannot buy from any other shop in greece, cuz i have a friend who buys things from e-shop.gr
And man that site is fantastic with prices!
Anyway still there are some anomalies like the cyclone costs less than the other msi cards :p

Yes, the 5770 link you gave me for 125euros is the best choice, but this friend is a seller here in Albania, so he buys things from e-shop and comes here to sell them.
This is the link to his shop: www.amg.al

I am going to sell the 7600GS i have for 20$
So summing up is 195$ for a card
    A question!
Why the xfx one which is a reference card costs more than the cyclone from msi???

I shell my Sapphire 5850.I saw your system specs and i think that you will have bottleneck but if you are planing to upgrade your hole system this will be nice.
    XFX always has expensive products.

Best thing I think, is to see if you can have your friend order the powercolor 5770 for you Alek. Then eventually upgrade to an inexpensive Athlon II x2.
