You should get some good cooling for it. Wait for the Zalman VF1000 to appear and slap that on wlong with some MX-1... flash bios with more volts... I wanna see 800MHz core and 2.5GHz mem from you...

TBH m8, all of these XXX / OC / SuperCharged etc etc editions are a waste of money!

They charge an extra £30 on top of the standard price, and all they do is increase the clocks, which is something you can do manually for FREE ;)

Agree totally...but sometimes, on that rare occasion, they increase the voltage also to acheive higher clocks, if you can get one of them without paying too much of a premium it's worth it IMO.

Noone was picking on anyone, just noting that he spent 300 more dollars an a card that was only preoverclocked from the factory. IMO that is a waste of money.. but he got the card for free, so it's all good.

It probably would if you create a BIOS for it that changed the shader clocks etc ;)

Maybe what I said isnt true for all cards then just most of them. For example, my 7950GT OC is sold for £30 more than the standard 7950GT, yet it is only overclocked by 3%, what a waste of money!

    EDIT: sorry, double post :(
