XFX 8800GTX XXX or XFX 8800GTX ULTRA

XFX 8800 Ultra XXX isn't that more faster then just the ultra i would just oc it to the speeds of a XXX card useing ati tools i no you still get beter performance from the ultra XXX when running the ultra and the ultra XXX at the same speeds but i just dont think its worth $200 more

Yeah, but the 8800 Ultra XXX will overclock beyond the gtx's overclock.

Actually factory overclocked cards don't overclock as well as normal cards because they usually don't give it a special BIOS with more volts.

what about the ultra not the XXX verson will that oc pass a ultra XXX is there any pont goin from a GTS to a high end card or will u get the same performance as 2 GTS SLIed on my system

Sli'ed gts will give you more performance, however a gtx will get fairly close when you turn everything up. Not to mention with a gtx you still have the option to go sli with the gtx.

Either way is great imo. I would just go with w/e is cheaper (comparing selling the gts and buying a gtx to buying a gtx, that kinda thing)
