Hi, looking to downgrade to get some money for a new car. Bought one at auction a few months ago but thats at the scrappy now (whole underside was rusted) :banghead: so looking to increase my budget this time around. Anyway, i'm looking for something like a 8800gts 320mb or 8800gs or 3850 + cash. This downgrade should only be for a few months so i'd prefer a lower end card + more cash but i'm open to offers.

Anybody interested? I've had an offer of an 8800gts 320mb + £70 on another forum but i'm looking to hopefully get a bit more. I could be tempted by cash offers as well but i'd have to find a replacement card first.

    PS. Sorry for bad pic.

Also, I am willing to give a small discount to folders (just started myself a few days ago :D). This produces between 8250-8700ppd (reported by FahMon).

EDIT: Sorry I should have mentioned i'm not willing to ship outside of the UK, postage will cost a bomb even if I didn't include the box.

I've got an 8800GTS 320MB that I've been looking to upgrade, but a GTX260 I think it too much of an upgrade. :) Plus you are over the pond. :(

Moonpig how much would you be willing to put on top? We might be able to work out a 3 way trade with panther.

On top of my 4870 for your GTX260? Erm:

    4870 id sell for £70
    4870 and Trad2 id sell for £85

GTX260's can be had for around £90-£100. So, £10 - £15 depending on delivery and original packaging etc.

The GTX260 is boxed with all the bits. If you could do the 4870 without the t rad 2 + £30 then ok, then i'd do an exchange with panther for his 3850 + cash and a few bits. Panther will tell me tomorrow how much he can get.

Can't offer you a great deal £60 is about the best I could do.

I know how GTX260's perform, i used to have one, and it clocked seriously high. I may, but i'd have to buy all the VRAM cooling and i'd rather have money than slightly lower temperatures.

Seems as though the heatsink sells for £26-£30 new and then the 2 fans on top make it quite pricey. I'm certain you'd be able to sell for more than £15! I was thinking something like £25 - especially if its in good condition! It's just if I offered £15 that leaves me with hardly anything as postage will cost about £7 (it's a big heavy box!).

+ i'll give you a free copy of world of goo (if you don't have it) and a digital copy of medal of honour airborne (I can do a 1 time transfer, I read it EA's policy :D) + I could throw in a boxed copy of enemy territory quake wars.

EDIT: Moonpig this is a core 216 version, didn't you have a 192 version or was that someone else?

    Hmmm... Tempting...

    What clocks have you managed?

Yea, i had a 192, but i believe they clocked better.
