I am repairing a PC right now that says on loggon that:

Windows could not load the local stored profile
and
Windows could now find any local profile and logged you off
**********************************************
These are transaltions from finnish..
Now i read that the ntuser.dat might be damaged.. most likely tru a damaged hdd.. thats what i am scanning right now.. but if the hdd is ok how could i repair a damaged ntuser.dat so that i can loggon to the user account again?

PS: Ahh and i tried to install xp over the old one (repair installation) but it didnt help
