Well i have an xpert@vision R9800SE w.256b Databus and 128Mb DDR.
Now when i use the softmoded drivers, the card works under non-3d envronment. The ATItool shows 8 pipelines, but after i run any game/test/demo that uses direct3d or opengl, the system halts, and after some time i get a blue screen. The machine restarts then. After that i must shut down my machine for some seconds, becuase the screen is all garbled.
Does any1 have a solution or the same problem?
I tested the latest and previous version of the softmoded drivers from this site. I tried it on both w2kp-sp4 and wxpp-sp1.
