XSPC D5 Pump reservoir combo - High Pitch Noise

Dear forum members,
I can currently hear high pitched noise from my d5 pump which is pretty annoying on idle, my system is only 2 weeks old and has been bought from overclockers, so I am not sure if it is defective pump or vibration, or it is as it just supposed to be.

Might it be because of that?

I've owned 4 different D5 pumps and only 1 was completely silent (a newer vario, silent even on 5). The rest had some level of whine with one being very annoying. The older ones were notorious for coil whine.

The other possibility is someone ran it dry and burned out the ceramic bearing. You have to take off the top and pull the impeller to look
