I never wasted my time with MW2. I canceled my pre-order about a week or so before launch after reading up on the game. Glad I did as I just went over to a friend's house to play on their 360 anyway.

Realistic and IMHO best shooter game ever made.
    RainbowSix : Raven Shield

I enjoy BF/BC games tho but that's a completely different gameplay. For example if you own in BF/BC and are a good player you still can get owned by random noob attack with no real PvP fight while Raven Shield left you with a 30:0 score because each kill was a real PvP fight.

The greatest online shooter of all time has to be Battlefield 2 :rockout:

I used to be an hardcore Counter Strike : Source player (in {eVo} clan ) but Battlefield 2 changed that :D

I play BC2 because there's no good UT2k4 or DoD:S servers left that are populated when I can play. BC2 is almost at that point now too =/

When I was playing about an hour ago the only full server was a mixed mode, rank 30+ gets kicked server. During the evening (American) there are lots of full servers but the population has been steadily going down. It won't be long before BC2 falls behind BF2 in Xfire hours.

    BFBC2

Pure mayhem, splodin walls, sniping off chopper pilots, RPGing choppers in exact trajectory without the need for tracers, a barret headshot a kilometer away without aiming a scope straight, ramming a quadbike C4 behind a tank.. just a few of some crazy stuff I experienced... stuff that I have never experienced before in an online fps.

WW2's been done to death but I was always fascinated by it even before video games. Utterly fantastic Battlefield 2 mod, not just great models and textures but significant improvement to the gameplay mechanics too especially in terms of vehicles like tanks. Though tons of new authentic items as well (which is what-along with historically-accurate maps/locales-the original FH was all about over vanilla BF1942) Hell, you can ride a bicycle into battle in this mod, though it's not recommended if you want to live. :)

2.3 with 3 new maps just released this month finish out the Normandy theatre, word is heading to the snowy Ardennes next which is logical (Battle of the Bulge). Can. Not. Wait.

It looks fantastic too for a 5 year old engine especially with super sampling.
