My feedback:

  • Increase font line-height (spacing between lines)
  • Use bold for titles
  • Slightly out of focus, use manual focus
  • Experiment with mode AV for shallower depth of field
  • Overlays getting cut off on the sides sometimes / going very close to edge
  • Use a mouse cursor to guide the eye in overlays
  • Talk a little bit slower(?)

Its good but the audio is slightly out of sink. The graphics are perfect. But don't use a sheet as a background. Maybe some paneling and some lighting or just what ever is in the room

maybe keep important text content within https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safe_area_(television)

i despise personal commentary or emotions if the subject is news, it becomes entertainment & talking down to the viewer or projecting how they should think

Just, uh, move the mic out of view?

EDIT: i know if it turns into pure science, you wont get all the viewers, but i'd rather have intelligent viewers than brainless idiots with a war in the comments section

some potential inspiration could be checking out various leo laporte shows & how he presents himself, he manages to be entertaining or genuinely nice without being a douchebag like tv news or most youtubers & twitchers

  1. Backdrop - If its your intent to "greenscreen" with that, you'll need to keep the material as tight as possible, otherwise you'll have a nightmare editing that into your tech-related background
  2. "yoo-ess-dee" sounds peculiar to me, I'd personally just say "US dollars"
  3. Emphasis is put in the wrong part of some sentences, consider your emphasis on the right words
  4. That part where you made a comment about your personal opinion on having game boxes and downloading - perfect - that's what I'd be looking for in a presenter. People like to watch human beings, not sound from an auto-cue
  5. You definitely chilled out in the later part of videos, the beginning was a little strict. Chill out, but that will all come with time.
  6. Use some animated facial expressions, you're in camera shot a lot, so move your face and arms to explain how outraged/amazed you are about the news you're talking about
  7. You use a similar mic rig to me, I know it's really damn hard to keep it out of sight. Extend the arm in front of you, then drop it right down near your belly button and aim the mic straight upwards. You get good volume, avoid getting it in shot, and more importantly, it makes it easier to normalise your audio during processing without amplifying background noise.
  8. Your voice is like warm chocolate, it melts into my ears, abuse that power

I like to see a person's hands when they talk. Makes me suspicious when I can't. Back the camera up a little.

I am sure the videos will improve over time. I am just not sure if this is something I would look forward to watching. Maybe I am old school, but if I would rather read information rather than watch someone present it to me. Now, if hardware starts catching on fire then that is a different story. I think it would be more fun watching these GPUs get benched. Just my opinion.

Very nice, and you seem professional.

Remember that no one knows what you are going to say except you. When I have to give presentations to large groups or important people I always think to my self "I could start muttering gibberish and laugh about it before I start" and it helps me remember that they are there to listen to what I have to say, and has nothing to do with me personally, and what they will remember is the highlights and things I draw their attention to.

I liked it, i don't mind seeing the mic but i did feel like you were to close to the camera. Liked the bits of humor added to which was nice and thought it was all well spoken clear to hear.

Keep it up :)

A cut between the host introducing themselves and the first piece of news, just going right into the news was jarring for me personally.
I also quite like Tek Syndicate if you want to look at their videos for ideas.

EDIT: Actually when MailMan said zithe sounded like a golf announcer i immediately though of this lol
