for sure. Th 1866 support will come from the IMC on the CPU, and the board will support 16GB easily. Check the motherboard manufacturer compatibility listing to be totally certain the brand of RAM will work.

Many additional brands will work, but have not been tested to make their list, so you'd be on your own if not on the list.

i could not be more explicit than that, except by citing a personal experience

on my Z170X Gaming 5 mobo i initialy got a 4x4 2666mhz C15 kit from Kingston (HyperX Fury) but it was compatible only on 2x4 and not 4x4, luckily since my retailer took the responsibility about the package, they proposed me to swap the kit for another, 4x4 2800mhz C14 kit also from Kingston (HyperX Predator), after checking the compatibility list, indeed my 1st kit was only "2 stick compatible" while the new one is "4 stick compatible" (tho i was also lucky to get a 2800mhz C14 in replacement of a 2666mhz C15 for no cost added, but that's another story )

tq for your info bro ... scary one .. i spent alot of cash to build i5 4690k

now i want add one more ram but iam scary regarding the compatible mobo and ram
