Will it fit?

I can't find anything on any site I've found about working on the HD 2X00 cards. Newest ATI cards mentioned seem to be the X1900 series.

AthlonX2 put the 700 on but from what I remember he had to mod the mounting holes that are on the cooler itself!

So for an easy install I'd have to say NO. With some work and engineering it can work tho!

Hmph. That's not good news.

I had a VF700 on my old 6600GT and it was amazing; I was hoping I could do something similar to my 2600XT and overclock it.

the 900 will fit just fine, but the 700 won't fit without some modification.

it works just have to use a dremel and make one of the holes slightly bigger..keeping my card @ 20c idle 30c load
