there are some more daylight pics, mainly exhibiting the SATA cable organization as that's basically the only cables you can see anyway :)

Alright, that is some serious CM you got going there. 10/10, although would be nice to see one more full side shot in the day.

BTW, what is that 2 digit readout at the bottom of the MB for? I assume thats stock.

thanks bro! I'll get another pic or two up next time I change a part

the display is stock on many boards now:
AC2005 POST Display
it can display ~50-75 codes that can be references in the motherboard manual, detailing exactly what stage the motherboard is at all times, including powering on (about 15 steps), powering off (~10 steps) and all other times
Basically if there's an error, you can tell immediately why and then determine what needs to be done, it's quite handy though I must say, this board is so great that I haven't even needed to reference it yet :)

9/10. Great WM. Nice air setup! I took off 1 point because I would love to see a H20 setup.

Overall good job. Post some OC specs and 3dmark scores please :)

lol I can live with 1 point off if it means not spending >>$100 on a WC setup :p

I'll definitely be posting benchies in the near future, atm I've been busy with school and now I'm writing a review on the crucial lanfest so it may be a bit before I get to do much OCing
(most I've done is superpi 1M at 3.6 which can be seen here: http://forums.techpowerup.com/showpost.php?p=506745&postcount=1323)

Looks good. I gave you a 7.
Did you mean you cut out the sidepanel to fit some acrylic or did you buy a new sidepanel for it?
Also seems kinda stock for the rest but nice cable management.

I made an account just to say DAMN!!! I really like your build. Lian li case, Abit motherboard with new P35 chipset. Awesome CM. Question for you actually though, just looking in your case, im about to do my next build, Im gonna be running the e4400 C2D obviously overclocked, hoping to hit 3.0 air with the M0 revision. Abit Ab9pro P965 chipset motherboard (i chose it for the hella sata and raid options) , 4GB Supertalent DDR 800 micron d9 chips soo i should be able to hit the FSB im lookin for. But the kicker is im gonna be using the ATI hd2900 PRO video card. Which is along the lines of 8800gtx size maybe a tad bigger. For size in your case, how much clearance is there for the video card before is becomes a problem with external expansion slots or internal 3.5 drive bays. I would worship you if you would actually break out a ruler and measure depth from card slot to the drive bays. AND, of course as soon as I get a case which is all I need, i will post the rig along with step by step progress photos.
by nflesher87 (November 3rd - 10:48 PM) - Reply
thanks for the praise bro
and for sure I'll let you know exact clearance measurements as soon as I get back to school where my PC is tomorrow!

as for your system, I have a few comments to make, why do you feel that you need 4GB of ram? if nothing else the extra two dimms (unless you're going 2x2GB) are only going to limit you're CPU overclock, also that 2900Pro, while an amazing card and I would love one myself, is most certainly going to be bottlenecked by that CPU...I hate to say it but it really will be, my suggestion would be to go with one of the good 2GB DDR2 800 kits such as Ballistix that you know will OC well but are still cheap AR, then put the extra cash into a better CPU

I ordered two sets of the 2x1 GB. Just due to the fact that they are the D9 micron chips, which are, from what i read, like the holy grail of handling high clocks and voltage. Im initially gonna start with one set 2x1 GB to test my over clock. I know running 4 dimms puts you at risk when you try and overclock all at the same time, usually one stick is weaker than the rest causing the BSOD. But, Now that DX10 is peeking out, down the road i might get lucky with a good overclock and the 4 dimms with Fu$xin Vista. My logic behind this is that the e4400 has the 10x mulitplier , so, my FSB overclock wont have to be sooo drastic to reach a good clock for both ram and cpu. Im not gonna be heavy into benchmarks, at least i tell myself that now :), im going for more real world performance. But, if it kicks me in the ass, I will probably agree with you and the first thing to upgrade will be the CPU. But for now, im just trying to get out of this centrino Duo laptop. Hate laptops, miss my desktop :(

Very nice, good job on the cables, wish my rig was that clean inside but alas... 7 hard drives and 11 fans is like impossible.

BTW, that lanfest ram is very pretty.
