System Specs: » Case: Thermaltake Armor+ » Mobo: EVGA Nforce 680i SLI » CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo Quad Core Q6600 2.4ghz OC to 3.80Ghz » GPU: EVGA Geforce 9800 GX2 1GB OCed » RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tracer Black PC2 6400 DDR2 800 4GB OC to 1100mhz (5-5-5-15 2T) » CPU & NB Cooling: Water Cooling [Swiftech GTZ, MCW30, Danger Den Black Ice Extreme 2 , Tygon 1/2", Danger Den Laing D5] » GPU cooling: 2 x MCW60 plus ramsinks, Switftech 240mm rad. » PSU: Cooler Master Real Power Pro1000
Performed Mods: Custom Lightings - Case lights modded to be all red. Replaced all blue leds on the 230mm fan as well as the 2 front 120mm fans to red. Placed the front 140mm fan(with red n orange lights) on top where the tray was to suck out warm air. Placed a 4" cold cathode light in front beneath the Thermaltake flap above the drivebays. Black interior paint; Custom Watercooling setup for 9800GX2 - Reversed the cores of the GX2 so they face outward. Used 2 MCW60s to cool the GPUs and Ramsinks on Rams, mosfets and Bridge chipset. Succesful for a time being with temps around 35C each core. However, this became an unsuccesful setup due to the fact that the bridge chip had to be actively cooled otherwise it will keep hitting 110C and shuts off display. Custom mounted 240mm BIX2 rad on the outside using simply a cut out fan box. Another 240mm Swiftech rad inside. Flow goes: pump > CPU > outside Rad > Res > GPU1 > GPU2 > chipset > Interior Rad > Repeat
This is actually my 1 year old pc that I no longer have. Sold most of the parts n wat i still have i will use for a F@H PC. I just never had a chance to post up pics of it. Loved this PC but was F'ing way too heavy to carry around. My next PC will be an i7 rig. It's actually completed n running right now, i just need one final item n its all set. I believe u will love my upcoming i7 rig :) p.s. Most pics were taken after 4-5 months of use (thus the slightly dirty fans). The GPU setup was done around that time. All fans on rads are 120mm Ultra Kaze 3000rpm.

im sorry but what do u mean its all over the gaff? if ure saying that there's tubing running around the case, that's because I'm watercooling everything. Try watercooling a GX2 without a proper FB block. And on top of that, I don't want to kink the tubes trying to make them shorter. Thanks anyways.

thats exactly what I meant to say (there are tubes everywhere around the case) sorry for the slang
P.S. maybe if you move the reservoir to the cd tray you wont have to do a loop around to go to the cpu and maybe if you had a longer tube connecting to the bottom rad it would look a lot neater

oh, with the 9800GX2, the sli bridge is a flexible strip connector that can be bent around in almost any shape. So originally, the strip was bent inward like a U with a lip to connect each end to a card. Then, when i flip them around, the strip rotates itself outward like a reversed U. It is long enough to go around. See image below, see the strip on the far left of the card?

btw, i cant take full credit for that mod. A great guy in my forum started the idea n i applied it to my build.

I gave you a 9/10 for all your custom modding like flipping the vga card and replacing the leds in the fans. Awesome cable management, great hardware, clean paint job. Overall looks incredible! Cant wait to see your new rig.

YES I C THE STRIP!GREAT JOB THERE!Now many could do it but since the card is being replaced by 285s and 295s i dont think it ll happenStill the current owners should do it.I would!

Very nice. Extremely insane but very nice. The work on the graphics card is very cool.
