plus extra point for the sharp desk setup! if your case is the only thing that looks cool, and your space is trashed, it's just a diamond in the rough! i love it when everything is polished!!
im thinkin' about changing it to a Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP,..... if u do change it,... itz gonna be early - mid next year
i have a 99' Honda Prelude wit a universal HKS Hi-Flow muffler,.... custom piping,..... no CAT converter,.... 1 MagnaFlow resonator,..... and a "kteller rage" 4-1 headers,...
but i dont race anymore,.... illegal and legal,..... its not worth it at da time,.... but its fun though
(for the pass few years,..... Honda's - Acura's havn't realy came up with anything tight,..... RSX Type S and the Civic Si have a pretty good engine for a in-line 4 but the body is not all that,....)
oh yeah,.... i dont just like Honda'z,.... love and give respect to American Muscle,.... and also 745,... 645,... 300C,.... Magnum,.... IS350,... GS450,.....G35,... thoughs are hella sick car's,...... but there's just too much,....
i dis-like BODYKITS,..... i like to keep my ride's lookin' like stock,... with alil' bit of enhancement and detail,...... i have a Lip Kit or another word for it is Ground Effect'z,..... and had it paint'd Flat Black,....
i want'd it quiet on idle and untill around 3000 RPM,.... datz why install'd a magnaflow resonator,....
Funny story he told me:
his friend had a Honda Civic fully tuned but looked really stock except for exhaust. This other guy was talking shit and said his ride was slow. So they raced, but the other guy didn't know that the Civic was light as hell (fiberglass, aluminum body, carbon fiber hood) and damn, he got his has beat by a mile. The guy talking shit was soo embarrased.
That was a pretty good thing to do though, hide your power, don't do all this stuff to your car to show off, then someone will race you and they'll lose because they didn't know what was under your hood.
but yeah,... dat same thing happen'd to my friend back in PI,..... we were chllin by the road where everybody race's at,.... this fashion orange 00' Honda Civic SiR stop'd in front of us and said dat he want'd to race with any car that we have,..... so knowing that his car is a SiR,.... we knew dat it a had a B16 engine,..... but i also gave it a thought dat it might of had a engine swap to a B18c1 (GSR - 160HP) or maybe a B18c (Type R - 210HP),.....
from the sound of the engine,.... it had no turbo,.. so it was All-motor,..... with CAI,.... 4-1 headers,... custom pipes,... no CAT and no Muffler,.... but im pretty sure it had more shiet in it,..... like Cam Gears,... pulleys,... under pulley's,..... port and polish heads,....no more,.....
looking at the car,... it was stock,....
so i went and took a closer look at it and it was all metal inside the car,.... no back seat,... no passenger seat,..... just 1 Sparco bucket seat,... no carpet,..... all 4 door panel was gone,.... no dashboard,..... it also had Sparco steering wheel,..... and a Tachometer,...... it doesnt even have a speedometer,...... i went around the car and knock'd on the body,....
AND GUESS WAT,...... all four doors were Carbon Fiber,..... but u cant tell from the looks of it coz its body painted,...... and also the hood and trunk were Carbon Fiber but just painted,....
so i told my homie about it,...... but it was to late already,....... we already made the deal,.... (best of out 3 race,..... winnder gets the cash) they told us dat its a stock engine (stock B16a : 170HP) the way the sound of the car,..... i think it might have had 210HP,...... BUT LIGHT AS FU_CK,......
my homie had a MR2 twin-cam turbo (stock is 200HP and 200 Torque) but had HKS stage 2 or 3 cam gears i think,.... it had fuel rail,.... fuel pump,..... pulley's,... and a Greddy Turbo Controller (lets u adjust the turbo setting's inside the car,.....)
the turbo setting on that race was on MEDIUM,..... i told him to put it on HIGH,..... but he said dat the engine is not tuned to go with the HIGH setting turbo yet,..... and if he does put it on HIGH,..... its gonna go even slower the the MEDIUM setting,...
we lose the 1st and 2nd run,......
i saw the same 00' SiR,.... few months later for the Mayor's Cup Drag Race running mid 12'z on a 1/4 mile,....
how yeah,....about ur cozin,..... its kinda hard for me to believe dat your cozin has STi with 500 - 600wHP,....... im not saying it'z not possible,...... but its gonna cost around $15,000 - $20,000 just for the engine upgrade's and tuning,..... (im just guessin' on the cost)
i would belive u if u told me some stuff dat he has under the hood
but if i had a STi,.... i would get it white with the gold rimz,... or maybe black with the gold rimz,..... keep everything stock but change the exhaust system to a complete titanium exhaust system,....
the 300ZX is pretty sick,....
talkin' bout carbon fiber'z,... i got a cozin up in vegas dat has a 240SX converted to a Silvia S14.5,..... just got the engine install'd about 3 monthz ago,...(SR20DET engine blacktop),.... everything carbon fiber but the doors,.... even the dashboard,... door panel,... rear back board,... roof head board,... and lots more,..... (its pretty sick,.... but i wouldn't do it)
