| This project that was a gift that started out a little fuzzy, the case of had been used at a fast food restaurant and was caked in food grease inside and out. I was given it and told that it had died. I started checking out the motherboard and processer found it was shutting down due the heat sink not being able to cool the processor. Cleaned the factory heat sink and it came to life. The motherboard bios was out of date so I updated the bios, gave it some graphics capability doubled the memory and got rid of the factory head sink and put a rockfish radiator on it. The case seemed to still trap a lot of heat. I added a blow hole, an inside fan and created a port fan out of an 80mm can and some Plexiglas. With the 120mm fan at the top and three additional fans the computer now idles at 95 Fahrenheit and 120 under a real heavy load not to bad for air cooling! Texture on the case was by applying a leather look contact paper. I took the recomendation and paited the inside of the case Jade Pearl | |
