Here's my first custom box. I wanted to build a decent HTPC that looked as well is it functioned for a usable conversation piece to be included in my entertainment center. I started designing from ideas I had gathered from the online bench testing rigs and created my own out of ½” Pine. I was able to build the entire box from items acquired at a local hardware store including a single 2’x4’ pine sheet, brass screws, and drawer pulls as handles. The box was finished with a rich mahogany stain and two coats of Polyurethane to set it off.
The PSU was modded to help keep the box clean in appearance. Since the back of the PSU had more character – I opted to use the rear facing forward in this build and hard wire the power cord through the opposite side. The on/off momentary switch to turn the pc on was mounted inside the psu along with the rheostat (fan controller) that controls the 120mm CPU fan.
Next steps - I plan to sleeve the 20 pin and 4pin power cables and add a wireless N PCI card.

I voted 10 because of the old good hardware you got. Looks like you tried to max out of that board. That could be the fastest AGP graphic system on earth W/O modification. Why don't you match that Corsair DDR too?
