| the original battey in my 1gb ipod killed the foxconn ribbon cabling for the usb connection, so i bought a 512 removed the 512 chip and puit the 1 gb chip in it. It worked fine, until idiot me was swapping the 512 back in and broke the usb of the cable... so i have been trying alternate methods at charging the thing | |

Usually has a pic of a Flower, rather than a Mountain range on the focus setting.
Sounds interesting from what has been written, but those pics mean nothing, and the text is a bit vauge as i and possibly others would turn to the pics to gain a full understanding of the mod.
Kind of on the subject tho, I recently made use of my nackered Creative Zen Touch 20GB mp3 player.
Dismantled it, and removed the hard drive which I placed in a USB external case.
Formatted it with the NTFS format rather than its own and I now have a large but very small portable storage device.
