System Specs:
A64 x2 3800+, 2GB OCZ value ram, X1800XL w/ Accelero x2, Thermalright Ultra-90 cooler, 200GB samsung SATA-II hard drive, Asrock 939-sata2 mobo.
Performed Mods:
Most of these parts were dead castoffs :)
Most 'modded' part is the Scythe Kama bay in the front slot to add another 120mm intake (2x92mm in, 1x120mm in, 1x120mm out and 2x80mm PSU out)
Mobo with a dead SATA-II port and dead PCI slot, HDA X-Mystique that was DOA (dirty contacts) a 200GB HD that came from a rig with a dead PSU, X1800XL that 'artifacted at stock' (known ATI tool bug)
Nee-Chan is japanese for big sister, as this was the 'prototype' for my other rigs, and was rebuilt with a few new parts. So its the older more seasoned of the Trio. (The other two, Omnipotens and Minipotens shall come later, as i have no pics of them yet ;) )
Also, as you may see i'm somewhat of a neat freak with PC's, if not my physical desktop
Update: System was sold, case reused on Conroe system.
User comments
Post your commentOh and if you give a vote, comment on why. Its really only a simple, tidy system, but my other systems are far more complex so i wouldnt mind feedback in case it relates to them.
