Key Features: Intel CPU NVIDIA VGA

This user's other mods:
  • Dan's case
System Specs: Dual Xeon 5110 @ 2.33, 2GB quad channel FB-DIMM's @ 780MHz, 73GB Atlas IV, EVGA 7900GS
Performed Mods: As you can see on picture #5 the board has an onboard speaker, this speaker is VERY loud and cannoyt be turned off. When rebooting my system during nighttime I risk waking up the whole house (literally) therefor I did a dirty sockmod® as seen on picture #6 which lowers the sound output.
The only reason I put it online is because the previous system was from half a year ago or so. I didn't bother to make great pics either, might do so when there is decent light. It looks like I have no optical or anything, that's why I added a pic where the hidden SATA cable is shown :)

For what reason? So I basically bought a 10/10? Interesting. So no suggestion to improve it? Like the huge mess of cables I put away at the top and didn't make a picture of :) I need a PSU with removable cables.

the hiper modular psu's are really nice. i own the black 530w. as far as mods go paint the interior of the case and throw in some sort of lighting.

Im reluctant with Hiper. go with enermax or PCP&C:) otherwise, decent build, cable management is worse than mine with watercooling. 6/10

On a different one, are DJBBenn and DantheBanjoman one in the same?

Why? These are 100% copper and keep the CPU's very cool at lowest speed. There is no use for others. Just need to make me one for my northbridge, since that gets hotter than my CPU's

@goober, 24GB max, and yes I play games on it as it is my primary rig.

I like it. I would've water cooled those proc's and maybe gotten some round cables....etc. None the less 8/10 from me ...:-) One more thing, I noticed you have more than enough room to H2O the chipsets as well. Just a thought.

4/10 (two cuz your my friend) the case itself is bland, the case is a visual seizure, there is nothing visually pleasing about the case or the parts inside... if your looking for a pleasing case go with a lanli make a few mods, get a modular psu, and put some CCFL lights and led fans in there... because yeah this is a case gallery...

Someday I want to run a dual proc computer. Maybe after I graduate and get a decent job, I'll build one with whatever beastly processor is out at the time. Probably something insane like dual CPUs with octuplet cores.

Those processors are dual core. So you would have to compare it to a quad-core CPU.

8/10 from me Dan. It's nice and powerful. I'm not a fan of a "simple" setup, I guess, but if you like it simple, then it's all good.

(When I say simple I mean no LED fan, no round cables, etc. just nice and plain...:)

That's a nice system. Do you know how it compares with a 2.4Ghz Quad Core 2 Duo? Just wondering about the benefits of 2 Xeons on a server mainboard .... BECAUSE I'M THINKING ABOUT IT TOO :)
