Pretty indeed. That looks like the same case wazzledoozle has.

I agree, pretty but outdated... who still uses a 30gb hard drive.

Some one who has limited funds, and the old drive still works flawlessly. I may put my old SOYO mobo (replaced it with ABIT IS-7) in it to have a graphics card. Unfortunately, it runs pc133 memory, 4x AGP, i848 Northbus and the only graphic cards I have laying around are FMI/CompUSA 7000 64Mb and 9200SE 128Mb. Oh, and the CPU Heatsink holder, and the AGP slot lock are both broken. Now that would be outdated, but no matter, as long as it works and runs everything, no? If you look at the other rig, http://www.techpowerup.com/gallery/225 it runs with a 36Gb Raptor. The third rig, my wifes, runs a 160Gb ATA because keeping disk space free with her is impossible.

Greetings Sillark aka. Mr.Nasty, I still say that your new case is sweet, looks like we both could use some new furniture ;) If you are going to build the old case, I could send you some of the spare parts laying around.
Click on the Case Mod Gallery button on the left control pannel of the home page. The page this opens up is the actual gallery. On top it has a link to add your "Case Mod" to the gallery.

$35 at newegg, probably a lot of them out there. If the person who uses this rig wants to get fancy, you would probably be looking at pink or purple instead of black. Not to mention flowers, ponies and princess related thingies painted on it, if you hadn't guessed by the sunglasses laying on the floor next to the rig.

I acually just scored a Compac Preserio AMD Athlon 1.1Gh system (complete with 17" flat CRT, printer, keyboard, speakers) for $10 USD. What had happened to this guy was that his CPU fan had stopped working, and without any saftey systems on this pos motherboard, it burnt up the cpu. Aparently he wasn't very computer savvy, since he practically gave it away. I just ordered an AMD Duron 800mhz cpu from a guy on ebay for $19. It won't be a gaming computer, but at least with it I can teach myself the basics of simple networking, and also be able to have two accounts with Eve Online.

Give the case a clean once in a while, it might run a little faster. All that dust tends to heat your computer up a bit. Other than the dust it looks quite tidy, not bad for older stuff. I give it a 4/10 just because it isnt huge and bulky and strewn everywhere like a lot of the mods on this site. If it were clean you'd get a 6 :)
