| System Specs: | » AMD 6000 Quad » Sapphire 3850 » 8 Gig DDR2 (800) » Pinnacle Video Capture Card » Asus M4A78 Plus » Asus N300 Wireless Adapter » Antec 900 Case |
| Performed Mods: | Flipped power supply for better wire management, cut hole in bottom of case to facilitate the flipping of power supply, raised case with LED acrylic feet, cut access holes for wire management inside case and painted in side of case hammer black with gold flake, removed front brace on case and trimmed benzyl to accommodate a slim line DVD burner and added one more set of Antec 900 fans |
| I have read, looked, and studied a lot of Antec 900 Cases in search of ideas to make the cooling more efficient, and achieve an workable wire management solution. The Blue Machine is the end result. I have actually had this single case for about 6 years and it has hosted numerous parts. My next build I will probably have to retire the case. I am not a gamer but have designed my system for video compilation and graphic arts. I welcome questions and comments and will freely share what knowledge I have. My first post got mixed reactions including opinions based upon feelings and nothing more. I respect your right to express yourself but please justify your comments and scores through thought and not petty insecurities or juvenile behavior. The desk is a custom “Z” line desk. As one person proudly displayed there “man-cave” I decided to join the ranks and display my office space from where I work and keep the blue machine work at all house to coin a phrase there is no place like home and an office with all the correct equipment does make computing more enjoyable and less tiresome. The Desk as stated in an earlier post is a custom design for my work center that I developed. For those inquisitive minds yes those are VCR tapes setting at the desk and under the printer is an 8 head Sony Stereo VCR that feeds into the system so I can also compile and transfer old tapes to a digital media. The second monitor is hooked to a small Acer media computer running XP so I can play back any finished work on a system that has low power and video capabilities so I can tell if finish product will play on any system or DVD player. | |

Overall, nice work. I can see the love you put into this.
I'll keep approving it whenever i see it, but odds are this thread will have a disappearing first post while w1zzard works on a fix.
