Key Features: AMD CPU AMD VGA Water cooled
System Specs: athlon venice core 2.4ghz @1.45v, ASRock 939-dual-SATA2 motherboard, saphire radeon x800gto2, hitachi deskstar T7K500 250gb hard disk, samsung spinpoint 160 gb ide disk, raidmax ninja case, modified terratec mystify watercooling with asetek black ice triple fan radiator.
Performed Mods: innovatek gpu surface was machined to fit the x800gto2, the asetek black ice radiator was mounted on top of the case to allow cool air for lower liquid temperature, (also there was shit all room inside the case) removed the hard drive cage to allow more room and better airflow.
this is the first time i have gone for water cooling but im really happy with it. overall, it cost (on ebay) less than £90 but does a fantastic job of cooling my graphics card (from 75 degrees maximum to 27 degrees maximum - using oblivion as a stress-tester) and a reasonable job of cooling the cpu (its a crappy aluminium block) i use the smaller monitor to display media player while i work or play.

thanks im very pleased with it too :)
i will upload some better pics soon, i took those this morning with my mobile. the only thing i need to do now is design a grille for the top of he radiator - its not ugly, but it looks a bit awkward. think il CNC a flame design out of aluminium at school - who says school is useless?

isn't the Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO2 a R480 core though? I know some GTs and GTOs used R430 but the Sapphire GTO2 was supposedly R480 all the way.

nice rig btw :)

nope, apparantly not. i was frustrated for ages cause my core (what i thought was a r480) wouldnt clock very high. last week i cleaned the chip properly and descovered that it had r430 written all over it. i felt cheated!
so i juiced it up and settled for what i can get from it.

this is the thing: the stock of the gto2s was getting low when i was considering buying one. then, all of a sudden, the sites were back in stock. i think sapphire, when they saw how well the gto2 sold, decided to cheat and sell a few more.

man, that sucks :(

Its not quite the same thing but I was pretty hopeful I would be able to unlock the R481 on my X850 PRO AGP from 12 to 16 pipes but its has the wrong fuses, so I understand your frustration.

Still, I have run it at 572/610 core/mem with my P4 @ 3.2Ghz and got a 5897 3DMark05 score which ain't bad
