The Radeon HD 4670 X2 was a graphics card by ATI, launched in September 2008. Built on the 55 nm process, and based on the RV730 graphics processor, in its RV730 XT variant, the card supports DirectX 10.1. The RV730 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 146 mm² and 514 million transistors. Radeon HD 4670 X2 combines two graphics processors to increase performance. It features 320 shading units, 32 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs per GPU. ATI has placed 1,024 MB GDDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface per GPU (each GPU manages 512 MB). The GPU is operating at a frequency of 750 MHz, memory is running at 900 MHz.
We recommend the ATI Radeon HD 4670 X2 for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 1280x720.
Being a dual-slot card, its power draw is rated at 118 W maximum. Display outputs include: 4x DVI. Radeon HD 4670 X2 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 2.0 x16 interface.
