NVIDIA Quadro FX 1400

NVIDIA Quadro FX 1400 Image NVIDIA NV41 Image
The Quadro FX 1400 was a high-end professional graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in August 2004. Built on the 130 nm process, and based on the NV41 graphics processor, in its GL variant, the card supports DirectX 9.0c. The NV41 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 225 mm² and 222 million transistors. It features 12 pixel shaders and 5 vertex shaders, 12 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). NVIDIA has placed 128 MB DDR memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 350 MHz, memory is running at 300 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, its power draw is rated at 55 W maximum. Display outputs include: 2x DVI, 1x S-Video. Quadro FX 1400 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 1.0 x16 interface. Its price at launch was 799 US Dollars.
