ATI Mobility Radeon X1700

ATI Mobility Radeon X1700 Image ATI M66 P Image
The Mobility Radeon X1700 was a graphics card by ATI, launched in February 2006. Built on the 90 nm process, and based on the M66 P graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 9.0c. The M66 P graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 150 mm² and 157 million transistors. It features 12 pixel shaders and 5 vertex shaders, 4 texture mapping units and 4 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). ATI has placed 256 MB GDDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 475 MHz, memory is running at 400 MHz.
Its power draw is not exactly known. Mobility Radeon X1700 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 1.0 x16 interface.
