NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600

NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600 Image NVIDIA NV25 A3 Image
The GeForce4 Ti 4600 was a high-end graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in February 2002. Built on the 150 nm process, and based on the NV25 A3 graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 8.1. The NV25 A3 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 142 mm² and 63 million transistors. It features 4 pixel shaders and 2 vertex shaders, 8 texture mapping units and 4 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). NVIDIA has placed 128 MB SDR memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 300 MHz, memory is running at 324 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, its power draw is not exactly known. Display outputs include: 1x DVI, 1x VGA, 1x S-Video. GeForce4 Ti 4600 is connected to the rest of the system using an AGP 4x interface. The card measures 216 mm in length, and features a single-slot cooling solution. Its price at launch was 399 US Dollars.
