NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 SE

NVIDIA G73 Image
The GeForce Go 7900 SE was a graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in April 2006. Built on the 90 nm process, and based on the G73 graphics processor, in its G73-VZ-N-B1 variant, the card supports DirectX 9.0c. The G73 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 125 mm² and 177 million transistors. It features 12 pixel shaders and 5 vertex shaders, 12 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). NVIDIA has placed 256 MB GDDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 350 MHz, memory is running at 333 MHz.
Its power draw is rated at 20 W maximum. GeForce Go 7900 SE is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 1.0 x16 interface.
