The R420 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 281 mm² and 160 million transistors. It features 12 pixel shaders and 6 vertex shaders, 12 texture mapping units and 12 ROPs. We recommend the ATI Radeon X800 PRO for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 1024x768.
Being a single-slot card, the ATI Radeon X800 PRO draws power from 1x Molex power connectors, with power draw rated at 48 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x DVI, 1x VGA, 1x S-Video. Radeon X800 PRO is connected to the rest of the system using an AGP 8x interface.
